Alice Springs

Le 2 août, nous sommes arrivés à Alice Springs, la capitale du Northern Territory dans le centre Australien, aussi appelé le "Centre Rouge".
On s'en rend compte rapidement en se promenant dans le centre-ville: Alice Springs est la capitale de l'Art Aborigène! (je pense faire un article à part dessus car c'est une grande passion)

En 2 mois, nous avons été 4 fois à Alice Springs donc l'avons visité en plusieurs fois.
Centre-ville, cafés, jardin, musées, et même reptiles et concerts aborigènes, Alice nous a bien plu! ;)

On the 2nd of August, we arrived in Alice Springs, the capital of the Northern Territory in the Australian center, also called the "Red Center".
We quickly realized while walking in the city center: Alice Springs is the capital of the Aboriginal Art! (I think I'll write an article later because it is a great passion)

In 2 months, we have been 4 times in Alice Springs so we have visited it in several times.
City center, garden, museums, cafes and even Aboriginal concerts and reptiles, we really enjoyed! ;)

Desert Dweller: un magasin de camping australien :D là vous voyez un "swag": c'est typiquement Australien, c'est un mélange entre une tente, un matelas et un duvet, tout y est inclus et ça se roule pour le transport / Desert Dweller: an Australian camping shop: There you see a "swag": it's typical Australian, it's a mix between a tent, a mattress and a sleeping bag, everything is included and you roll it for transport

le seul "camping" gratuit au nord d'Alice au tropique du Capricorne: un arrêt avec WC, youh! il fait désormais environ 0°C la nuit et encore froid le matin, brrr bienvenue dans le désert! (Alice Springs est entourée de déserts) / the only free "camping" north of Alice at the Tropique of Capricorn: a stopping bay with toilets, youh! it is now around 0 ° C at night and still cold in the morning, brrr welcome to the desert! (Alice Springs is surrounded by deserts)

CAFES

retrouvailles avec nos amis Séb, Victoria, Mike et Jacqui avec qui nous avions cueilli les agrumes à Paringa l'année dernière! (tous retrouvés un peu par surprise dans le coin!!) (Kungas Cafe très bon d'ailleurs: spécialisé en "bush tucker": nourriture du bush) / Reunion with our friends Seb, Victoria, Mike and Jacqui with whom we had picked citrus in Paringa last year! (all met a little by surprise in the area!!) (Kungas Cafe: very good place by the way; secialised in bush tucker!)

le café du jardin botanique, bondé le week-end mais j'y ai mangé du canard délicieux! / the botanical garden cafe, crowded during weekends but I ate some delicious duck!

JARDIN BOTANIQUE / BOTANICAL GARDEN

le jardin botanique est très sec! vous pouvez voir que la végétation est maintenant en accord avec le climat: aride! / the botanical garden is very dry! you can see that the vegetation is now in harmony with the climate: arid!

Je préviens pour les sensibles: nous avons fait le musée des reptiles donc pour les phobiques des serpents, crocos et gros lézards, vous pouvez passer ;)
(je suis fière d'avoir réussi à tenir un python arc-en ciel puis un lézard à langue bleue en rigolant :D)

Nico se fond désormais parmi les locaux de l'outback: chapeau et chemise de cowboy :D / Nico blends in with the locals of the outback: cowboy hat and shirt! :D

CONCERTS ABORIGENES / ABORIGINAL CONCERTS

Nous avions la chance d'être dans le coin au moment du Bush Band Bash: une sorte de festival musical avec uniquement des groupes Aborigènes du désert! De belles découvertes notamment le reggae aborigène de Red Sand Beat Band <3 ou les groupes Tjupi et Wampana.

We were lucky to be in the area at the time of the Bush Band Bash: a kind of music festival with only Aboriginal Desert bands! Beautiful discoveries including the indigenous reggae of Red Sand Beat Band <3 or Tjupi Band and Wampana Band.
