(Waterfalls and wombats)

Then, we stopped on our way to the coast to the Fitzroy Falls. It was unexpected how crazy the view was compare to the road and the car park ^^ It was a huge change of scene compare to the flat fields, now we were looking at a sub-tropical forest in a huge valley and high plateau. And the Fitzroy Fall is a very high and narrow fall
/
And while we were walking, we were lucky to listen to the call of a lyre-bird ! (unfortunately we couldn't see it)
the lyre-bird imitate the calls of plenty of different birds and it can last more than 20min !

And for the night, we settled in the free camp Bendeela. At the entrance, some rangers took our plate number and gave us some informations about wombats because the camp is full of these peaceful but wild Australian mammals. It's funny because the campers were very used to them, during the night the wombats were everywhere, grazing the grass and rubing themselves on the cars (very weird feeling !! ^^ )
